Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Trainee-$28.69 Level 1-$32.06 Level 2-36.90 hourly rate

Job Description

We are seeking well-rounded electromechanical maintenance technicians who can handle both mechanical and electrical tasks effectively. This role involves working on 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday, or 3rd shift from 11 PM to 7 AM. Technicians will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various industrial systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting.

  • Drop power to machines and replace proximity switches, hydraulic pumps, and cylinders.

  • Install low voltage electrical equipment and ensure compliance with National Electrical Codes, OSHA, and Safety Standards.

  • Troubleshoot electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems, making judgment calls on whether equipment can run or needs immediate repair.

  • Summarize jobs and provide evaluations when requested by supervisors or leads.

  • Manage and maintain hand tools, electrical tools, volt/ohm and amp meters, testing equipment, welders, transportation, and lifting equipment.

  • Follow lockout/tagout procedures.

Essential Skills

  • Experience as a maintenance technician, tube bender, cutoff operator, lathe operator, electromechanical technician, or electrical technician.

  • Knowledge of electromechanical and electrical systems.

  • Basic welding and fabricating skills.

  • Basic troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to work in adverse conditions such as wet, hot, dusty, dirty, or cold environments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Actively pursuing or recently completed an Associate's or Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance or a related field.

  • At least six months of industrial maintenance experience.

  • Six months of experience with basic welding and fabricating metal structures and components.

Work Environment

This is a heavy industrial environment where you will travel between buildings to complete maintenance tasks. Be prepared to work in conditions that may be wet, hot, dusty, dirty, or cold. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valley, Nebraska.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
