The IT Infrastructure/Cyber Security Manager is an energetic, dependable, customer-oriented individual responsible for the internal infrastructure team. In addition, this position is responsible for driving governance, change management and our security framework ensuring uptime and availability of business systems and equipment.

The infrastructure team is tasked with managing, securing, and maintaining hardware, network components, phone systems, maintenance windows and service contracts in a highly available environment where downtime could mean production outages. On this position you will lead a team of technical team members in different regions and requires interaction with our business partners, so this position will be onsite and traveling to other facilities with an understanding of balance and flexibility. The scope of responsibilities includes all ITW Construction sites in the UK, Denmark, Spain, France, Benelux, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Switzerland and smaller offices in these regions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Motivate, develop and manage a team of technical employees

  • Ability to break down and solve complex problems

  • Develop and maintain infrastructure team budget across locations

  • Drive proper project management and change management procedures

  • Strong leadership, coaching and employee development skills

  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate and effectively interact with customers across cultures

  • Deliver a cost effective highly available network and communication environment

  • Drive security awareness to our customer population

  • Ensure rigid governance over policy, cyber requirements and frameworks

  • Network and End Point maintenance and security

  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technology and requirements

  • Attention to detail, documentation and cross training

  • Vendor management and negotiations, datacenter procurement

SKILLS - TECHNICAL:

  • Understanding of Active Directory and Microsoft Tenant Administration

  • Experience with Azure and the Microsoft Tenant

  • VMWare, Hyper-V, Storage Area Networks (SAN), Server administration and management

  • Security Best Practices, patch and vulnerability management

  • Equipment and application health monitoring

  • Design and capacity planning

  • IT change management procedures

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or IT related field

  • 3-5 years of related leadership experience

  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work with and instruct people on a one-on-one basis

  • Training and presentation skills

  • Travel up to 35% beyond onboarding

  • Fluent in English and French
