The Department of Teacher Education in the Dewar College of Education and Human Services seeks applicants for a non-tenure track faculty position beginning August 1, 2025, through May 11, 2026.
The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in the candidate's area of expertise and participating in service at the department, college, and university levels.

Department Summary
Teach a 5/5 course load per semester (Fall and Spring) and provide service to the department, college, and university.

- Terminal degree (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in Special Education or closely related field;
- Background teaching Special Education in the United States;
- Experience working with school and/or teacher leaders;
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.

- Record of effective teaching appropriate to the applicant's career stage;
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting;
- Record of mentoring students;
- Knowledge in the use of technology for teaching and learning;
- Knowledge of data-informed and research-based practices;
- Experience in student recruitment, retention, and success;
- Experience with program management/coordination;
