Assistant Retail Operations Manager. PAY: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year. CABVI is seeking an Assistant Retail Operations Manager to be primarily responsible for all CounterPoint (POS) and e-Commerce site updates and training. Assist in identifying, purchasing, and securing products and supplies for the Base Supply Centers, e-Commerce sites and assist in the development of marketing strategies. updates. Assist with ClickOn Supplies commercial e-Commerce platform in all areas. Supervises the general operations and directs activities of store managers and staff.

KEY JOB ELEMENTS Assist in the selection of product lines for BSC Store(s) in compliance with military, NIB and the Committee for Purchase regulations.
Assist the Retail Operations Manager in devising and implementing marketing and sales strategies for the BSC stores and both the government and commercial e-commerce sites. Research suppliers and negotiates with vendors for cost effectiveness, calculates retail prices and is aware of the competitive market. Assists store employees with developing product displays and customer strategies to enhance sales. Works closely with other CABVI personnel on advertising and marketing projects. Make presentations and sales calls with store employees and independently. Maintains contact, and strengthens relationships, with Base Personnel. Assist Operations Manager with supervising all employees. Assist Staff with finding new customers and increasing sales. Assists the Retail Operations Manage in developing semi-annual meetings for store managers and CABVI senior leadership. Assists the Retail Operations Manage in ensuring that inventory levels are maintained at quantities adequate to meet customer demands. Monitor sales and profit margin to ensure that store locations are on target to achieve budget. Maintain and update the e-commerce sites (ETS substitutions, adding new customers, site headers) Makes regular/monthly trips to the stores to inspect the store operations and as needed to support the operation of store due to staffing issues or concerns. Adapts to change and completes other duties as assigned by supervisor. Consistently achieves annual performance objectives

COMMUNICATION SKILLS Must be skillful in presenting information through general correspondence when negotiating with vendors. Must write and implement effective objectives, proposals, plans, and reports. Must have excellent listening skills and the ability to clearly articulate in all situations.

COMPUTER/TECHNICAL SKILLS Must be knowledgeable regarding POS applications, e-Commerce site, databases and spreadsheets. Must have excellent mathematical skills. Must understand laws and regulations of state and federal agencies including the JWOD and state use programs. Must be willing to learn new technology.

WORK ENVIRONMENT In house position with frequent travel. Noise level is moderate. Must be available for evening or weekend agency related functions that may be outside of agency. Must be able to pass a federal background check.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree with a minimum of three years retail management experience or Associates degree with a minimum of seven years retail management experience required.
