Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is partnering with a reputable client to find a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Utica, NY . Competitive Salary:
• $105,000 - $120,000 per year
• Compensation will be based on experience, education, and qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Director of Nursing Services (DNS) with management and maintaining quality care standards
• Lead staff education and serve as the Infection Control Officer
• Support compliance initiatives and foster clear communication among the nursing team
• Address the medical needs of residents with a holistic approach
• Coordinate the overall planning and execution of nursing services
• Maintain a thorough understanding of nursing theory and best practices
• Ensure accurate, timely completion of medical records
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, and orientation of new nursing staff
• Be on-call and adaptable to meet unpredictable healthcare needs
• Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling to support the team and residents
Qualifications:
• Current New York State RN license (required)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in long-term care settings
• Prior experience training clinical staff
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
