Now Hiring - Concrete Finisher
Position Overview: We are looking for skilled & experienced Concrete Finishers to join our team in Urbandale, Iowa. If you have experience in the construction field looking for your next career opportunity to contribute to various commercial projects, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
Move materials and lay concrete blankets.
Shovel, finish, and form curbs.
Work alongside a paver to move and smooth concrete with tools like shovels and brooms.
Assist in parking lots, parking garages, foundations, and wall projects.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
2+ years of experience in outdoor construction work, concrete preferred.
Proven experience with foundation pouring and forming curbs (parking garages/lots a plus).
Ability to take direction and follow instructions effectively.
Capacity to push, pull, or drag equipment with a teammate for extended periods (8+ hours).
Strong physical ability to lift up to 100+ lbs.
Own construction boots or willingness to purchase them.
Work Environment
Join a mainline crew (16 members) or handwork crew (12 members).
Outdoor commercial construction environment, adapting to adverse conditions (heat/cold).
Flexibility to work 60+ hours per week, with shifts typically starting at 6:30 AM or 7:00 AM and lasting 10–12 hours (Saturdays included).
Preparedness to adjust schedules based on weather conditions.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
