    Position Summary:

    The Manager of Leadership Giving will be assigned in the east region and will play an integral role in helping to build the pipeline of major gifts support through leadership giving. They will oversee regional implementation of annual giving programs for the east region, including fundraising and stewardship events, annual fund solicitations, the employee giving campaign, Women's Legacy Circle (WLC), and third party fundraisers. They will manage a portfolio of 50-60 donors and prospects, developing individual strategies and engagement opportunities to build sustainable relationships and thoughtfully move them through the relationship management cycle. In addition, they will build partnerships across the region to help identify philanthropic opportunities that align with organizational needs.

    Essential Functions:

  • Work collaboratively with Marketing Communications and Operations to implement and manage annual giving strategies and programs for the east region.

  • Plan and oversee regional fundraising and stewardship events.

  • Provide regional input into strategies for annual fund solicitations and the employee giving campaign.

  • Oversee third party fundraisers and other annual giving requests from the east region.

  • Partner with the Program Executive, Marketing and Communications to identify and develop region-specific stories and messaging that aligns with system communications and brand.

  • Monitor outcomes and evaluate data-driven strategies, making adjustments as needed to continually improve.

  • Manage a portfolio of 50-60 select $100K+ prospects (with capacity to give $5k+), $100k+ future prospects, annual giving donors, employee giving prospects, and WLC donors. Focus should be on top prospects that have not been qualified by the rest of the regional team. Time spent on portfolio work should equal 50%.

  • Manage a portfolio of up to 30 corporate donors. Focus will be on soliciting and securing sponsorships for regional fundraising events.

  • Conduct an average of 6 monthly visits with existing and potential donors for the purposes of qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and closing annual leadership gifts.

  • Work with supervisor and the east region fundraising team to implement strategies to feed the major gift pipeline, qualify/disqualify prospects, and secure leadership gifts from individuals.

  • Provide stewardship to donors under management.
