Hybrid Receiving/Stocking and Entry-Level Automation Role
Job Description
This position involves a combination of receiving and stocking duties, along with entry-level automation responsibilities. Candidates will utilize RF scanners and stand for extended periods on the automation line, ensuring product accuracy. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, with a shift starting at 5:30 am until work completion.
Responsibilities
Manage physical daily cycle counts and research inventory-related variances.
Provide accurate data and reports to the Inventory Control Supervisor or Manager using relevant software.
Observe, audit, record, report, and correct discrepancies in inventory control operations.
Collaborate with the returns team.
Effectively work in a multi-tasking environment.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in document control, cycle counts, and inventory management.
Experience with automation and inventory control.
Material handling and forklift operation skills.
Data entry proficiency.
Knowledge of SAP software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to motivate and foster teamwork.
Experience in training, coaching, and providing performance feedback.
Advanced knowledge of computer software including word-processing, Excel, Outlook, and WMS.
Ability to analyze moderately complex data.
Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
3-5+ years of experience in fulfillment/distribution and inventory control, preferably in the electrical industry.
At least one year of leadership experience.

Work Environment
This role is based in a large, fast-paced warehouse spanning over 220,000 square feet with more than 25 bay doors. The facility houses a variety of electrical parts and is organized by racks and a wire room section. Opened in February 2024, the warehouse provides a modern and efficient work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
