JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Marketing Department in the Smeal College of Business is seeking a candidate to serve as a teaching assistant.
Job Duties
The individual will serve as a teaching assistant for MKTG 442, Sustainable Behavior of Consumers, Firms, and Societies in the Fall Semester.
The individual will read and grade weekly written assignments along with other written assignments.
The hours would vary with the average week ranging from 2-6 hours, depending on the semester, and a few weeks having 10 hours of work but other weeks having no hours.
The job would be ideal for someone that has a genuine interest in learning about sustainability.
The individual may also help with research tasks such as coding participants’ survey responses and conducting literature searches but this is not required for the teaching assistant.
Requirements and Qualifications
- The individual could be a current student who has not yet graduated or could be an alumni that has a few extra hours each week for this work.
