The NBCUniversal Facilities Ops & Engineering Team is looking for a Facility Manager in Universal City, CA! In this role, you will be responsible for developing analysis of the operations work planning, work completion, and financial impacts as well as managing our team of third-party vendors that work in support of the facility. You will be a “go-to” resource, with excellent communication and presentation skills for all things operations and vendor support. You will bring technical expertise to ensure the quality and accuracy of that data, then process, design, and present it in ways to help people, businesses, and organizations make better decisions. Your depth of facility knowledge, contract acumen and ownership mentality will lead our vendor teams with strength and clear direction to foster highly effective relationships and best in class service.
What You’ll Do:
Respond to urgent facility requests with the teams to help lead efforts and organize the work force.
Active engagement on workforce deployments with regular onsite inspections and progress reporting for all facility related projects.
Organize facility efforts and workflows on special projects.
Assist in planning, coordination, execution and tracking of capital projects.
Perform regular auditing of facility work orders to assist in prioritization of work and assist in scheduling of repairs.
Manage third party vendors for janitorial, waste, pest control, elevators, window washing and any others that may be required.
Assist in developing the scope of work for contract services in conjunction with Senior Director and Sourcing.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of all contract service agreements to ensure proper compliance.
Schedule and coordinate all third-party services to be completed on time and within budget.
Coordinate day-to-day implementation of policies and procedures.
Ensure all vendors are compliant with Sourcing, Procurement & EHS requirements.
Own all things budget performance, performance dashboards, metrics and reporting for the West Coast Studio Operations Facilities Ops & Eng department.
Tell the story of the Ops & Eng operation with accurate and complete data tied to financial tools.
Work with executives and other business leaders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Create engaging reports for internal teams and/or external clients to help set expectation and drive performance.
Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data, and create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.
Use graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data.
Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of business decisions.
Structure large data sets to find actionable information.
Support Fac Ops & Eng. with work management reporting in IWMS, utilizing Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
Everyday use of NBCU Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS), Archibus, to organize work plans spanning multiple teams on the property.
Reconciliation of data from our Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) and TimeKeeper to confirm data is matching to our SOP.
Work with a wide range of union and corporate teams to connect operational data from the integrated workplace management system and other tools into executive dashboards.
Work with Finance team to understand labor, materials, and vendor cost trends - identify cost drivers and recommend mitigation opportunities.
Collaborate with administration team to assemble and refine weekly overtime reports, Engineering/Janitorial billbacks and any other reporting/tracking need that may arise.
Financial reporting responsibilities for the property include creating project list updates and tracking, monthly accruals, and reclasses.

What You Must Have:
Associate’s Degree in related field or equivalent
2+ years of experience in facilities management, operations, or business management
2+ years of experience in work planning and analysis
2+ years general accounting experience
2+ years of experience interpreting and creating financial models
2+ years of experience in cost-effective internal business practices
2+ years of experience in data analytics and verification
2+ years of experience and knowledge of enterprise business systems and integrated workplace management systems
What Would Make You a Stand-out:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or other advanced degree
Experience with Excel programming
Experience developing Power BI graphics
Experience utilizing Archibus IWMS software
Campus operations experience
Studio operations experience

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
