SERV Behavioral Health System Program Supervisor - Day program - I/DD in Union, New Jersey

JOB SUMMARY:

The Program Supervisor will function as a manager of specific programs to ensure daily operation and achieve stated program’s goals and objectives. 

The Program Supervisor will assist in the development/oversee the completion of Individual Habitation Plans, Adaptive Behavior Scale and other assessments and, at times, will provide case management and direct care services for assigned clients, as needed for the program. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Program Supervisor promotes the professional development of direct service staff to enhance the specialized services provided to learners/clients of SERV Achievement Centers. 

  • The Program Supervisor will assist in the implementation and development of the training; consultation; supervision; recruitment, interviewing and hiring; and evaluation services to designated SERV Achievement Centers programs. 

  • This position will assist in the identification and presentation of clinical education needs; participate in the design, execution and analysis of evaluation measures and training data; and participate in Pre-Service and other in-house training. 

  • The Program Supervisor will assist in the development and implementation of program plans, services and micro enterprises.

  • The Program Supervisor provides on-call backup services. 

  • The Program Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and overseeing program compliance, ensures that services are rendered in accordance with all safety regulations, Federal and State regulations, Agency and Corporate policies.  May perform other duties as deemed necessary for the agency.

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & ABILITY:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of five years supervisory and/or administrative experience, or an associate degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of eight years' experience (five supervisory). 

  • Experience with behavior-oriented programming applied in a variety of settings preferred. 

  • Knowledge of the practical experiences in conducting professional evaluations of Family Teachers a plus.

  • Experience with behaviorally oriented programming applied in a variety of settings.

  • Valid Driver’s License in state of residence.

  • Must be able to successfully complete a physical, drug screen and background check.
