Custom Truck One Source Mechanics (All Levels) at Custom Truck One Source in Union Grove, Wisconsin
Location: Union Grove, WI 53182
Are you an extraordinary individual seeking an exciting opportunity in the mechanical realm? Look no further! Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) is hiring Mechanics of all levels to bolster our Truck Service, Quality Control, and Production Upfit teams.
Join us in Union Grove, WI, and embark on a journey filled with possibilities and growth.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift, 5am - 3:30pm (currently 10-hour shifts)
Qualifications:
High mechanical aptitude or vocational training.
Experience in auto, truck, construction, or farm equipment maintenance/repair.
Proficiency in electrical, schematic/blueprints, hydraulic, welding, and related fields.
Vocational Technical School/Military Wheeled Mechanic/OJT or relevant training preferred.
ASE, Mechanics, Welding certifications are advantageous.
Responsibilities:
Assembly and disassembly of body and equipment as per company guidelines
Customization of heavy & light-duty vehicles to specifications
Accurate documentation of work performed on each vehicle daily
Moving parts using hoists, cranes, forklifts, etc.
Reading drawings/schematics to determine material requirements and task sequences
Maintenance of tools, equipment, and shop area for safety and functionality
Wiring electrical components, plumbing hydraulics, and welding trucks and chassis
Understanding and executing work orders promptly
Ensuring timely turnaround of vehicles
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
Basic computer navigation and software skills
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Majority of work conducted in a shop and outdoors
Ability to operate carts, forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
Frequent lifting of 60-100 pounds
Capable of walking and standing on concrete and uneven surfaces for at least 8 hours per day
