Compensation: $74,100 - 101,400 Annually

Position Summary:

The Auditor of Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) is responsible for daily supervising all ICQA staff responsibilities, primarily focusing on Cycle Counts, stock order management, and quality control audits. This position will be required to interface with warehouse staff to research distressed products and/or other inventory-related issues requiring systems-based solutions. The ICQA Manager will support the setup of all facility parameters/locations for the DC, including maintaining all system changes related to operations. Responsible for research, follow-up, processing, and reporting regarding the status of all inventories. The ICQA Manager is responsible for all cycle counts, monitoring, and re-introducing invalid products. The ICQA Manager is also responsible for daily communications with all management team members regarding ICQA concerns, including monitoring/auditing the SOP, WI, safety, and QA processes in all processing areas.

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Manage the timely data collection and input for accuracy data for all warehouse processes and associates.

  • Problem-solving production data errors or incomplete data.

  • Perform cycle count of storage locations within Customer agreed timelines.

  • Generate reports and provide visibility of root causes for shrink and product flow issues to the Operation Supervisor and Warehouse Management.

  • Responsible for performing inventory and receipt adjustments as necessary for accuracy.

  • Takes a lead role in assigning auditors to collect appropriate sample sizes.

  • The role will also be required to interface daily with the warehouse management team to disseminate and analyze operational results and make recommendations for improvement.

  • Assist with process quality audits.

  • Daily/Weekly reconciliation of stranded inventory to ensure all customer products are received, processed, and shipped within agreed time frames.

  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining a Quality System in the SFO Warehouse.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant quality, regulatory, and compliance standards.

  • Conduct audits of DC operational processes.

  • Review, update and revision control of documentation for all aspects of the DC.

  • Working with operation management and supervisors to ensure high-quality performance, process and strict safety adherence, and overall improvement.

  • Perform risk assessments and lead investigations to address quality issues.

  • Assist to establish and manage the Kamishibai Program.

  • Ensure compliance with all audit standards and procedures.

  • Training and cross-training of associates to build strong teamwork.

  • Other duties as assigned

    Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 2+ Years of College or equivalent military or work experience

  • Detailed knowledge of distribution center systems, processes, inventory control, and Quality control

  • Ability to analyze data using standard statistical techniques and experience in data research to determine the root causes.

  • Ability to present findings and trends through various reporting tools

  • 2-4 years' experience with a current, more advanced Warehouse Management System (WMS).

  • Strong aptitude for information systems & willingness to learn new software packages.

  • Solid understanding of Inventory Control and Quality Control issues.

  • Experienced in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, and SQL + query capability preferred.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organization

  • Supervisory or lead experience are a plus.

  • Ability to interact professionally with all levels within the organization and with Customers.

  • Sense of urgency in responding to the needs of Associates and Managers

  • Experience in Hazardous Communications and Hazardous Materials Compliance

  • Forklift certification and/or license a plus.

  • Supply Chain Institute CIME certification or APICS CPIM certification preferred.

  • 5S, Lean, or similar certifications preferred.
