Responsibilities
Salary: $20 - $22hr
Shift: 1:45pm - 10pm. (will train on 1st for 1-4 weeks)
Duties:
Read and understand all aspects of the work order as instructed by both Sales and Production Planning.
Properly use and be able to read micrometer and tape measure.
Measure and record all dimensions of material being processed while cross referencing customer requirements.
Understand machine capabilities and capacities.
Fully understand how to properly use all machinery and devices in the process of slitting, from loading master coil to removing processed coil and everything in between
Clean the entire line prior to processing stainless steel.
Perform a “Job Write Up” that displays all tooling, in sequence, for both the slitter arbor and guide arms for setup.
Perform a job write up using both manual and software-oriented methods.
Clean all tooling during removal.
Preset all tooling possible prior to jobs running.
Inspect material at payoff during stainless runs.
Prep cores, paper, and PVC prior to runs.
Set up off-line arbor with next job.
Interchange arbors between jobs.
Lock up arbor and lower to cutting depth.
Check and verify clearance with feeler gauge tooling.
The essential functions of this role include:
- working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
