Gem State Staffing is looking for full time Class A or B CDL Drivers for a full-time position!
CDL Driver Job Duties:
- Candidates must efficiently and safely operate commercial trucks, trailers, including transports in excess of 16000 pounds.
- Hauling material according to asphalt production cycling methods is the main responsibility for this position.
- Candidates must also perform construction-related services needed for project completion when not operating vehicle or machinery, which includes physical labor when needed.
- There are physical demands with this position that include receptive arm and wrist movements, lifting and moving shovels filled with approx. 20 lbs of material, standing for long periods of time and extreme weather conditions such as summer heat, winter cold and wind.
- Arriving consistently on time, being prepared for the entire day with food, water, clothing and personal items depending on weather conditions is a must.
