Virgin Galactic Talent Acquisition Operations Professional in Tustin, California

Virgin Galactic is looking for a Talent Acquisition Operations Generalist to assist a high volume Talent Acquisition team. Talent Acquisition is responsible for direct hire, contractor hiring and the intern program. We are looking for someone who is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment and a willingness to support our TA Partners with scheduling, onboarding and offboarding.

TA Ops Generalist will be the liaison between the candidate and the hiring leader during the scheduling process as well as assisting with Contractor Management. The candidate and hiring leader experience is your top priority to ensure strong candidate engagement throughout the process. This position requires relentless attention to detail to ensure the best experience for our internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

Contractor Management

  • Interface and manage onboarding, and off-boarding/life cycle of Contingent Workforce

  • Conduct onboarding briefing with all new contractors

  • Liaison with external recruiting partners to assign new positions, close out searches and information requests as needed.

  • Ensure compliance in all aspects of contractor/consultant onboarding & offboarding

  • Maintain accurate, and up-to-date records on incoming, active, and inactive contractors in Horizon/SAP (in compliance with SOX)

  • Maintain Applicant Tracking System (Monday.com)

  • Monthly Contractor Audits

Stake Holder Management

  • Collaborate with People Operations, Learning & Development, IT, and hiring leaders to ensure smooth onboarding for contractor

  • Client Relationship & Satisfaction Management – develop and maintain business relationships with key client stakeholders, hiring managers and external recruiting partners

  • Problem-solve and present conceptual information to all levels of internal and external management

  • Prepare regular metrics reporting regarding to management (weekly)

  • Identify and leading initiatives for Process Development and Documentation

  • Administrative duties as assigned

Scheduling

  • Interview scheduling for virtual or onsite interviews, including, but not limited to: room bookings, ordering meals, greeting the candidate and ensuring the interview schedule flows smoothly

  • Booking candidate travel and collecting receipts for travel reimbursement requests.

  • Post offer process liaison between People Operations team

  • Support Intern Program with planning, coordinating events and ad hoc projects

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Outlook and calendar management

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • High attention to detail, with strong organizational skills

  • Proactive approach to your work and take initiative on daily tasks and projects

  • 2 + years of experience in Recruiting coordination with a strong sense of urgency in a professional environment

  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS) experience (SAP/Successfactors & Monday.com preferred)

  • Contractor Management experience highly desirable

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information with tact, and discretion.

The annual U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $67,500.00–$97,950.00. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, and experience and take into account internal equity. Other forms of pay (e.g., bonus or long term incentive) may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
