Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembler for our 2nd shift, working from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Training will be provided on the 1st shift for the first two weeks, with a start time of 7:00 AM. This role requires proficiency in various aspects of electromechanical assembly, including soldering, wire harness construction, and the use of hand tools.

Responsibilities

  • Perform soldering, wiring, and crimping tasks with precision.

  • Read, interpret, and execute instructions and diagrams for precise assembly of equipment and products.

  • Construct and test wire harness connections.

  • Utilize various hand tools and fixtures proficiently.

  • Conduct quality spot checks on products to ensure adherence to specified standards.

  • Report any product inconsistencies or equipment malfunctions to supervisors promptly.

  • Rework or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specifications.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 4 years of assembly experience.

  • Proficiency in soldering, electronic assembly, crimping, and wire harness construction.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wire schematics.

  • Experience with electromechanical assembly and the use of hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous IPC certifications are ideal.

  • Proficiency in mechanical, production, electrical wiring, and electrical assembly.

  • Ability to conduct quality checks and rework products as needed.

Work Environment

You will be working in a clean production facility with a 2nd shift schedule from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Steel-toed boots are required for safety. The initial two-week training will be conducted on the 1st shift starting at 7:00 AM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tustin, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
