Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk based in Turlock, California. This role involves the processing, verification, and maintenance of invoices, as well as vendor relationship management. You'll be working within our finance department, playing a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.
Responsibilities:
• Verify approval and coding on invoices and check requests.
• Audit, verify, and process expense reports.
• Assign General Ledger and vendor coding to invoices.
• Process and data enter invoices on a regular basis.
• Reconcile vendor statements.
• Prepare and process checks for multiple companies.
• Research vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships with external vendors and internal departments.
• Answer all calls from vendors and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Prepare analysis of accounts, as required.
• Update and maintain vendor information.
• Maintain accounts payable files.
Skills:
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Requirements
• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) operations
• At least one year of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
• High level of integrity and trustworthiness
• Strong problem-solving skills
