GE Aerospace Maintenance Leader in Turin, Italy

Job Description Summary

As Maintenance Leader you will lead all maintenance activities for Sangone plant infrastructures and special equipment.

You will report to the Sangone Facility manager and will operate in synergy with the Central Facility Team, Test Engineers, EHS, and Security.

In the role you will be responsible for:

-Managing the maintenance of specific testing equipment, general equipment and infrastructures.

-Managing the maintenance database according to the laws and internal policy requirements, recording performed preventive and on-condition maintenance activities for site certification purposes.

-Managing internal maintenance team as well as external contractors.

-Supporting EHS activities in terms of authority requirement compliance, Management of Change, internal procedures and safety improvement activities.

-Maximizing the efficiency of the test cell equipment and minimize the cell stops for maintenance.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

In particular, essential responsibilities will be:

  • Facilities maintenance scheduling and implementation, resolving issues, tracking work order and engaging maintenance and contractor personnel.

  • Facilities compliance and certifications to internal and external policy, laws and regulations.

  • Supervision of the development and implementation of procedures and system for plant personnel to maintain facility in safe, efficient and cost effective manner.

  • Maintenance database management and update.

  • Energy and fluids supply and management.

  • EHS support.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering from and accredited University or High School diploma with relevant experience in coordinatin maintenance activities

  • Work experience in plant infrastructures.

  • Knowledge of maintenance methodologies and best practices.

  • Overall competencies in electrical, electronic and mechanical disciplines.

  • SAP proficiency.

  • Knowledge of legal requirements and industrial standards.

  • LOTO/Machine Guarding knowledge.

  • Fluent both in Italian and in English.

  • Work VISA, according to local regulation, is required
