Job Summary:
The Network Engineer 4 is a key position within our IT department, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the overarching network infrastructure of the company. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate business needs into reliable network systems that align with the organization's IT and business goals.
Responsibilities: Design high-performance network architecture that supports both current and future IT applications and services. Implement these designs in collaboration with the IT teams, ensuring minimal disruption to existing services. Regularly evaluate network systems, perform network modeling, analysis, and planning to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness. Propose and implement enhancements that will improve the reliability, security, and efficiency of the network. Act as the highest level of escalation for network issues. Resolve complex network problems, collaborating with other IT team members and external vendors as needed. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks. Ensure all network practices comply with industry standards and government regulations. Work closely with other departments to identify, recommend, develop, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. Provide guidance and leadership to junior network staff.
Qualifications:
No college degree required. At least 7 years of experience in network design and implementation, with a proven track record of successful large-scale network projects. Detail-oriented, Analytical, Adaptability, Leadership. Regular and reliable attendance. Works cooperatively with other.
