ELECTRICAL ENGINEER INTERN We are looking for students in Electrical Engineering to join our team. Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform Power System Study modeling and analysis
  • Assist our field service teams on field projects.
  • Perform some maintenance and repair work on substation equipment.
  • Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and collect data of low, medium and high voltage electrical systems.
  • As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will be assigned to work on a project team and assist the engineering team members in the execution of their project work. These projects may involve the design of new and/or modifications and upgrades to industrial, utility or large commercial power systems.
  • Working under the direction of senior engineers, this position will offer you the opportunity to utilize and expand your academic background in Electrical Engineering in one or more of the following areas:
    • Assist in the preparation of engineering calculations, specifications, and designs.
    • Work on a variety of tasks associated with project reporting, such as tracking and evaluating project activities, project progress, and associated data.
    • Be involved in power distribution designs and the preparation of specifications for the procurement of major electrical power equipment and related installation services.

Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled in University for Electrical Engineering or a similar technology program.
  • Understanding of industrial/utility protection and relay system.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Familiarity with applicable codes and standards
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and clean abstract as fieldwork will be a requirement of this position.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
