Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This Contract-to-Permanent position is 100% ONSITE and offers the opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy while working within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions to ensure timely and accurate financial operations.
• Perform bank reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial records.
• Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
• Prepare and post journal entries to support accurate financial reporting.
• Execute month-end close processes to finalize financial statements.
• Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP to streamline operations.
• Handle grant and fund accounting tasks, particularly in non-profit settings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and ensure adherence to financial regulations.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Maintain organized records and documentation for reporting and compliance purposes.
Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
• Strong skills in bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
• Proficiency in accounting software, including NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP.
• Familiarity with grant and fund accounting, especially in non-profit organizations.
• Solid understanding of journal entries and month-end close procedures.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial processes.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
