Job Title: MRP Planner

Job Description:

We are seeking an MRP Planner to join the Aerospace and Defense team. This role involves working on the shop floor, coordinating with operations, scheduling, and logistics to ensure smooth material flow and adherence to aircraft schedules. The Material Planner will be responsible for managing and optimizing the material planning process. They will support the planning and scheduling through the MRP system and ensure that material is planned, ordered, and received.

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinate with operations, scheduling, and logistics to ensure smooth material flow

  • Ensure adherence to aircraft schedules

  • Manage inventory and supply chain processes.

  • Engage in purchasing, procurement, and material planning tasks.

  • Review, utilize, and maintain the MRP system daily

  • Fulfill work orders promptly

  • Manage and execute project production schedules

  • Coordinate with suppliers and purchasing to support customer delivery

  • Develop material planning strategies to meet production requirements while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project timelines, supply chain objectives, and execution strategies for assigned projects.

  • Work on the shop floor to oversee production planning processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in manufacturing planning.

Strong knowledge of SAP systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Experience in inventory management and supply chain processes.

Experience in the aviation industry.

Familiarity with ERP systems, planning, and scheduling.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
