What You Will Do
Perform activities related to investigating matters on behalf of the company. Investigate various complaints, concerns or matters on behalf of the Company, including:
Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)
Workplace conduct, including alleged discrimination, harassment, and/or retaliation
Code of Business Conduct/Conflict of Interest issues
Other internal complaints
Investigate, assist, and make inquiries into alleged discrimination, harassment, retaliation, company benefits, and other issues that come to management's attention.
Conduct interviews and take written or oral statements of potential witnesses, including customers and company personnel, during investigations and inquiries.
Provide training and technical support to employees in areas related to EEO, Affirmative Action, workplace conduct, Code of Business Conduct/Conflict of Interest policies, and ADA compliance, including case management responsibilities.
Provide information, advice, and assistance to law enforcement officials, court officials, and others regarding aspects of various investigations.
Input and maintain claims information into company database (as specified by position).
Research, analyze, and prepare confidential information and reports including internal claims reports, photographic or video evidence, statistical reports, correspondence with external contacts, and company policies.
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
Employee may perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
What You Will Need
Bachelor's Degree business administration, human resources, pre-law, or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job-related experience (as specified by position)
Knowledge of various types of investigations such as those related to equal employment opportunity and/or employment practices.
Apply basic math and algebraic formulas.
Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers, and applicable software.
Knowledge and training related to:
Investigations
Regulations relative to equal employment, affirmative action and employment practices
Interpersonal communication skills
Read and interpret applicable governmental/regulatory reports and administrative regulations, company policies and procedures, industry publications, journals, and correspondence.
Research, analyze, and prepare investigation reports, photographic and video-taped evidence, release and settlement documentation, correspondence, and other confidential information.
Experience and ability to develop and present information and presentations.
Interview, advise, persuade, and communicate effectively.
Read and write fluently in English.
Valid state-issued operator's driver's license required for travel to locations in various states.
Requires travel to various company offices, investigation sites, courthouses, government offices, and attorney offices.
Mobility to travel to in and around office facilities and outside work and incident locations.
Operate office tools and equipment required.
Communicate and exchange information or instructions.
Visual ability to perform job responsibilities.
