Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
Assess and monitor patients during the labor and delivery process.
Assist with labor and delivery procedures, including vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
Administer medications and manage pain relief options.
Monitor and record vital signs of both mother and baby.
Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals.
Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and patient safety protocols.
Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
Provide postpartum care and breastfeeding support.
Job Requirements:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
Current BLS and NRP certifications.
Strong knowledge of childbirth procedures and techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
