Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will support production by repairing operational and equipment issues as they occur, completing work orders, and maintaining inventory and clean workspaces.

Responsibilities

  • Support production by repairing operational and equipment issues as they occur.

  • Complete corrective work orders and items listed on defect lists.

  • Keep maintenance spaces (shop) and parts/equipment clean and organized.

  • Maintain store room inventory.

  • Complete work orders.

  • Maintain bill of material.

  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

  • Communicate effectively with team members.

  • Adhere to safety protocols.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in pneumatics, electrical systems, PLCs, and mechanical systems.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills.

  • Experience with preventative maintenance (PMs), welding, and fabrication.

  • Ability to repair and maintain machinery and equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with manual/conventional lathe operations.

  • Strongly preferred experience in welding, machining, and fabrication.

Work Environment

This position is located in a food manufacturing plant. The work environment includes exposure to machinery, equipment, and varying temperatures. Adherence to safety and cleanliness standards is required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tukwila, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00/hr.
