Job Summary:

Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) offers an excellent opportunity to join our diverse, energetic, and collaborative environment in support of the dynamic and growth-oriented Development and Logistics procurement department, which manages the engineering and development procurements for various mission areas. In this role, you will foster relationship with suppliers, administer subcontracts in a fashion consistent with integrated supply chain models, recognizing the role and value of each participant through the acquisition life cycle from requirements generation through product delivery, product support, and payment for products and services.  You will engage in supplier performance, relationship management, strategic sourcing as well as facilitate complex business agreements in support of the various contracts.

This position is an onsite role.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Preparation and issuance of Request for Quotations/Proposals

  • Perform price and cost analysis and lead formal negotiations, Price, delivery, scope, Terms & Conditions.

  • Place subcontracts/purchase orders.

  • Issue and conflict resolution of medium/high complexity in accordance with all regulatory (FAR/DFAR) and corporate compliance requitements for various subcontract types (Cost Types, Firm Fixed price, Time & Materials

  • Place OTS, WFPP CRADA, bailment agreements.

  • Nurture professional business relationships with first tier subcontractors

  • Provide comprehensive Supply Chain support for gate reviews.

  • This position is onsite at our Tucson, AZ location.

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience.

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field

  • Project planning and management skills (ex: MS Project, EVMS) Experience in working with development type of procurement and major subcontracts

  • Experience in a SAP based environment

  • Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services – including Statement of Work (SOW) review

  • Familiarity with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

  • Demonstrated knowledge / compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)

  • Experience in written contractual authorization/vehicles (Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price etc.) and experience assessing proposal compliance (FAR 15.4)

Additional Details:

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Clearance Information: This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS) an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
