Job Overview:
Maintenance Supervisor – Tucson, AZ
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for coordinating, planning, and overseeing the Maintenance department, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration. This role drives area-specific maintenance projects and process enhancements while supporting a team of approximately 12 technicians. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this position works closely with Production, EH&S, Quality, HR, Finance, and Engineering teams.
Shift & Schedule
Full-time | 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Flexibility to work outside of standard hours, including weekends and holidays, is required as needed.
What you will do:
Lead TPM efforts and continuous improvement initiatives
Apply Lean problem-solving tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA, etc.)
Ensure equipment reliability to maximize productivity and product quality
Support technicians in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues
Implement process improvements to enhance changeover and line efficiency
Optimize asset utilization and plant performance
Provide training to upskill maintenance technicians
Schedule and manage preventive maintenance tasks and priorities
Oversee and inspect major contractor work (electrical, plumbing, mechanical)
Foster positive, professional relationships with employees and contractors
Enforce safety protocols and best practices

This is an exempt, salaried position paid on a biweekly basis. Compensation is flexible and determined based on the candidate’s experience

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Operations Management preferred
Mechanical/Electrical background with PLC experience strongly preferred
Minimum 3 years of maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing
Proficient with SAP or other CMMS systems
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and collaborative
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
