Job SummaryThe Fire Sprinkler Pipe Fitter supports in assisting with install, repairs and maintenance on all types of fire sprinkler equipment and systems. Travel within the state to work on various locations/job sites as necessary. Flexible team player with the ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. Organized and motivated individual.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:Please note the essential functions may vary depending on technical knowledge, certification requirements and willingness to excel.
- Perform service and repairs on various systems including Fire Alarm systems, Fire Sprinkler Systems, Fire Extinguishers and various systems for Code Compliance and conditions that would prevent operation.
- Work in compliance with the companys safety policies at all times.
- Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance.
- Responsible for knowing the correct type and size of piping for installation.
- Ability to use the correct tools for cutting, threading and fitting pipe.
- Meet all installation deadlines.
- Responsible for accurate hours on time clock, service/installation tickets and inventory items.
- Full compliance with company\'s and customer\'s safety program.
- Clean up of work area.
- Field Report on activities and problems.
- Take pride in your work, be a team player, ask questions and help others grow!
- Other duties as required or assigned by company management.
