Job Summary Manages the project management life cycle and software development life cycle for the implementation of complex, large-scale, strategic IT and enterprise initiatives. Responsible for the planning, analysis, execution, and delivery of technical programs supporting Flagstar's key business initiatives. Responsible for developing and implementing systems that track and report progress of large scale programs, identifies intersections of programs and potential resource constraints for programs. Responsible for communicating status, challenges, and solutions to business leaders in the execution of large scale initiatives. Responsible for collection, development, analysis, and governance of technology process documentation and metrics for internal and external audit and regulatory purposes.
Job Responsibilities: Designs and implements policies, system monitors, and controls to ensure and operationalize the successful management and reporting of enterprise programs and metrics. Develops, implements, and maintains standards and processes for the collection and reporting of team financials and metrics. Collects, develops, analyzes, and governs technology process documentation and metrics for internal and external audit and regulatory purposes. Provides visibility into delivery performance of department initiatives, SLAs, and other program metrics. Coordinates and facilitates regular team and leadership meetings, strategy sessions, and training. Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Completes all required compliance training. Maintains knowledge of and adhere to Flagstar's internal compliance policies and procedures. Takes responsibility to keep up to date with changing regulations and policies.
Job Requirements : Bachelor's Degree required. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred. PMP preferred. 10 years of experience in IT project management. 7 years of experience leading professionals and professional teams in the execution of multiple large projects. Strong knowledge of technology solutions that streamline business processes. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues at different levels of the business and the IT group. Comfort around executive leaders. Proven ability to establish a high level of trust and confidence in both the business and IT communities. Strong analytical and conceptual skills. Strong financial analysis skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools. Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate vision, goals, and themes to both business and IT audiences. Strong persuasion and influence capabilities. Demonstrated ability to deliver presentations of complex information to a variety of audiences. Strong understanding of technology and its application to achieve business objectives. Demonstrated ability in managing to a budget.
