HTC Global Services, Inc. has an opening for the position of Jr. Developer (Ref# JD95MK).

Work Location:  Troy, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

Job Duties:  Under direct supervision, develop and integrate IT solutions by using appropriate development methodologies and standards for Business Intelligence (BI) reporting and visualization applications.  Involved in requirement analysis, design, development and coding, testing and quality assurance, post implementation support, documentation, and user training.  Design, develop, and enhance Power BI visualization, reports, and charts using Power BI Desktop, Power BI Report Builder, and Power Apps.  Design, develop, and enhance Tableau visualization, reports, and charts using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.  Work with BI and data team to build reporting and data analytics.  Model data as per the reporting needs and provide requirements to the data team.  Perform extensive data analysis on existing business systems using software tools including SQL to document and report the findings.  Maintain the integrity of development work and underlying data through the use of version controls systems.  Design data models and provide estimates for the change requests.  Document high-level and low-level design details and involved in converting the functional requirements to technical implementation.  Create/maintain knowledge-based repository for technical, functional, and nonfunctional assets.  Write queries to extract data from source systems and transform into required format to feed reporting applications.  Conduct and facilitate system testing and user acceptance testing and manage defects.  Identify enhancements to existing designs and work on change requests.  Identify manual recursive activities and implement solutions that would automate the task.  Conduct technical training session to the team and create learning artifacts.  Support critical SLA (service-level agreement) bound applications and prompt responses to stakeholders to ensure issue resolution.  Provide support for application deployment and verification with end users.  Involved in critical application status communication to teams across the organization in the event of an infrastructure upgrade or maintenance.  Train users on application features.

Requirements:  This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.  Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Software Developer, Systems Analyst, Associate Projects, or related experience.  Position requires 1 year of experience with Power BI and Tableau.  40hrs/week.
