As an Industry Technical Consultant, you will collaborate closely with our Global Account Managers to sell industry specific solutions by serving as a technical architect, providing subject matter expertise, developing demonstrations, and presenting concepts to clients - helping to close complex technical sales. This position is remote friendly reporting into the Global Industry Accounts organization within Global Sales and Marketing.

Essential Functions: Ability to effectively deliver both written and oral presentations. Ability to work and collaborate with individuals at various levels within an organization in a team environment. Ability to Identify and mitigate commercial & technical risks. Apply globally accepted Project Management processes. Facilitate and document meetings both internally with the Global Account Sales team and externally with clients of Rockwell Support Company focus on high growth areas in Life Sciences. Capture, Document and Track Product Gaps associated with the Life Sciences Industry. Indirect interaction with client staff and plant locations worldwide; interaction with the customers key supply chain partners ( OEM's, SI's, etc.) worldwide; communication and coordination of Rockwell Automation sales, support, and business units worldwide. Work as a leading team member with Global Account Managers and Product Management to co-plan and prioritize the activities which will generate the greatest value for clients Rockwell Automation. Work proactively with clients to make product and architectural recommendations. Examples would include: RandD, technical suitability, cost/performance evaluation, technical trends, and migration considerations, proof of concept, configuration testing, customer application assistance, and value proposition creation.
