HTC Global Services, Inc. has an opening for the position of Application Programmer/Developer (Ref# APD112AK) to work in Troy, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Create and modify moderately complex applications programs from detailed specifications. Involved in the complete software development life-cycle (SDLC) using Agile/Scrum methodology to accelerate software development iteration. Analyze complex business problems in the existing system by collaborating with end users. Prepare flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate the software architecture that meets client's requirements in an effective and cost-efficient manner. Develop in-detail technical specifications for application software to be performed by development team. Responsible for application development, creating data pipelines, data analysis, and investigating any application performance issues. Build and maintain applications in AWS Cloud environment using various services. Provision and maintain the AWS cloud resources. Analyze large amounts of data to drive successful business solutions. Review design ideas and prototype with product owners and development team. Provide innovative solutions to complex system problems. Review the technical design specifications and code new or modify existing programs as per the design requirements. Prepare test plan based on the system requirements specification. Inspect test results for accuracy and completeness. Ensure the desired quality standards and the system functionality are being met. Interact with end-users and troubleshoot production issues. Troubleshoot and fix any CI/CD pipeline issues by making necessary code and configuration changes. Monitor business transactions using application performance management tools. Use of Splunk, AppDynamics, SiteScope, TeamQuest, Snowflake, Amazon Web Services (AWS), S3, Lambda, RDS, Terraform, Python, Spark, PySpark, Tableau, and SQL. Travel and/or relocation required.
Requirements: This position requires a Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Software Developer, Data Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Position requires 1 year of experience with data analysis, AppDynamics, Splunk, and Python. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
