Description: You will be a leader in the Production, Planning and Control organization at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control's Pike County Operations site in Troy, AL. Our team is responsible for managing the flow of materials and supporting the production of complex mechanical and electronic assemblies.

What You Will Be Doing

As a leader in the Material Support Center, you will be responsible for managing activities such as receipt scheduling, warehouse organization, kitting and distribution scheduling, and inventory management. You will also oversee a team of approximately 15-20 direct reports and work collaboratively with other functional areas to ensure efficient production operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing receipt scheduling and tracking

- Overseeing warehouse organization and loading

- Coordinating kitting and distribution scheduling

- Managing inventory activities

- Supervising a team of 15-20 direct reports

Troy, Alabama is located in the East Gulf Coastal Plains region of southeastern Alabama. Troy's climate is typical of areas along the Gulf of Mexico in that it has hot, humid summers and mild winters.

Where can you get to from Troy? Our facility in Troy is just under an hour south of Montgomery, Alabama. Troy is about 2.5 hours north of the Gulf of Mexico and Fort Walton Beach and Florida's Pan Handle. Troy is about three hours from Atlanta, GA

Basic Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability and experience

communicating with peers, leadership, internal,

and external customers effectively on multiple platforms (face-to-face, virtually, email, skype,

etc.)

• Demonstrated ability to work independently

and make effective decisions

• Demonstrated proficient knowledge of

computer systems, office applications, and

warehouse management systems.

• Ability to train and become certified in all

processes and procedures applicable to warehousing and distribution activities.

• Coordinate and manage receipts and distributions for multiple programs.

• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a

Secret security clearance and must have at a

minimum an interim Secret security clearance

prior to start.

• Ability to work additional time outside of

normal work schedule.

**Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of

Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives

(“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to

be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or

other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF

regulations. Failure to obtain and retain

employee possessor status may result in

revocation of an offer and loss of employment.

Desired Skills:

•Background and working knowledge of Warehousing, Distribution, and Inventory processes.

• SAP, Apriso, and Shipment Tracking Programs experience.

• Receiving / Shipping inspection background is

a plus.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
