About the Role:

The Order Management Analyst is part of the Deal Strategy team supporting transactional activities for global order processing. This position works closely with Sales, Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Revenue and Legal in the processing of the Company's orders, which primarily include Subscription Services, Cloud Services, Professional Services, and Training. The Order Management Analyst will be responsible for the organization, fulfillment, booking, and documentation of all transactions and ensuring compliance with all Company and business policies. In this role, you will be a key contributor in driving operational excellence for the Company.

This role reports to the Manager, Order Management.

Location: East or Central Time Zone

What You Will Do:

  • Process and manage orders accurately and timely in Salesforce in accordance with executed contracts and ensuring successful integration into NetSuite

  • Validate order documents (quotes, contracts, purchase orders, approval docs, etc.) to ensure compliance with Confluent's Booking Policy

  • Work closely with other business functions i.e., Deal Desk, Sales, Revenue, Sales Operations, Systems, etc to resolve and close cases assigned to Order Management

  • Support best practice efforts in the Quote to Cash and Revenue processes through business process improvements and initiatives

  • Conduct monthly reconciliations and other oversight/audit activity to monitor compliance with revenue compliance booking requirements using Excel and SFDC

  • Support increased workload and additional hours when required i.e., month-end/quarter-end periods, holiday coverage

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support ad-hoc assignments as required

  • Participate in UAT testing for system enhancements as needed

What You Will Bring:

  • 3 years related experience, preferably in an Enterprise Software or SaaS environment

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred

  • Previous experience in order management or sales operation role

  • Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required, experience with large data sets preferred

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of sales process (cloud subscription, renewals, forecasting, bookings, revenue)

  • Sense of urgency

  • Ability to work independently and multi-task

  • Detail oriented, time management and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to partner and communicate within all levels of the organization

  • Team-player

This position has an annual estimated salary of $71,700 - $84,240 USD, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package.
