Dev Technology Group, Inc. Lead Database Administrator in Trenton, New Jersey

Lead Database Administrator, #726 Clearance: U.S. Citizenship is required. Must be able to receive and maintain a DHS public trust. Current DHS public trust preferred or DOD top secret with a current BI within the last 3 years. We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Technical Architect and Database Administrator. The ideal candidate will bring over 7 years of related work expertise, with a strong background in solution architecture, database administration, and software development. What You'll Be Doing: * Lead the design, development, implementation, migration, upgrade, and post-production support of mission-critical systems running on various database platforms. * Serve as a technical lead for transformation initiatives, with a focus on performance optimization and system reliability within an agile and modernization framework. * Provide expert guidance on Oracle database management and cloud technologies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and security protocols. * Lead a team of database administrators, providing mentorship, training, and support to ensure operational efficiency and excellence. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute cloud migration strategies, including risk assessment, project roadmap maintenance, and data ingestion design. * Stay current with industry trends and best practices, continuously enhancing technical skills and certifications. Required Education, Skills and Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field * Minimum of 7 years of experience in database administration * Extensive experience as a Technical Architect, Technical Lead, and Database Administrator, with a focus on mission-critical systems. * Proven expertise in Oracle database administration, including performance tuning, security compliance, and cloud integration. * Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead teams, drive project success, and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members. * Relevant certifications in cloud technologies, Agile methodologies, and database administration (e.g., Oracle, AWS, SAFe®). Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills: * Experience in a government contracting environment * Security Clearance: DHS Public Trust or DOD Secret Our estimated salary range for this position is $116,000-$180,000. This presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Offered salary is based on education, experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements as appropriate to the role. *Salary could fall outside of this range.
