Steel Tool and Engineering Co MANUFACTURING ENGINEER in Trenton, Michigan
Steel Tool and Engineering is an Aerospace Company located in Trenton, Michigan. We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to can work independently to problem solve in order to keep production moving within the plant. The Manufacturing Engineer would work with the Engineering Department to process new and existing jobs for productivity and improvements.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
• Read and interpret tooling drawings and specifications.
• Strong technical knowledge and ability in process engineering disciplines.
• Demonstrates initiative by reaching beyond work assigned to improve output and/or help others.
• Work with close tolerances.
• Have manufacturing experience, such as metal working, metal cutting and metal forming..
• Preferred knowledge and ability to implement Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Strong ability to problem solve manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
