Nexeo Staffing Maintenance Technician in TREMONTON, Utah
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician I to join our team in Tremonton,UT. In this role,you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing mechanical,electrical,and electronic plant/equipment maintenance. Your contributions will help minimize production downtime and maximize efficiency while upholding food safety and quality practices. This is a temporary position lasting from May-July.
Responsibilities
Complete daily work assignments and assist others as needed.
Perform basic maintenance and repair activities including electrical,mechanical,HVAC,hydraulic,pneumatic,steam,and MMS systems.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems of plant equipment.
Conduct preventative maintenance on all equipment and perform equipment inspections.
Utilize computer systems for maintenance record-keeping activities.
Provide calibration and repair support for the ICV Program.
Research parts inventory,purchase replacement parts,and ensure proper installation.
Maintain building including HVAC,roofs/windows/doors,and lights.
Keep work and shop areas clean to prevent injury and sanitation issues.
Work collaboratively within a team environment and perform any other assigned duties.
Qualifications
Vocational training in maintenance mechanics is preferred.
Experience with production machinery operation and maintenance is a plus.
Proficiency in operating machine tools,power tools,computers,electronic test equipment,and welding equipment preferred.
Experience in hydraulics,HVAC,boilers,air compressors,electronics,robotics,plumbing,and mechanical alignment preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical,electrical,and electronic equipment problems.
Effective communication skills and ability to work closely with team members and vendors.
Must be able to work independently and be self-directed.
Flexibility to work overtime and/or on alternate shifts if needed.
Must be able to read,write,and communicate in English.
Compliance with company-issued uniforms and required PPE.
Regular on-time attendance and willingness to work overtime.
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
Willingness to work 12-hour shifts in various environmental conditions.
Pay
$40.00 - $50.00 Per Hour
Schedule
Night Shift | 3:45pm - 4:00am
OR
Day Shift | 3:45am - 4:00pm
