Job Description

Following a recent increase in our long-term project pipeline, AECOM’s Water Team is looking for a passionate and highly driven Senior or Principal Engineer who will set their career on a new trajectory by delivering a wide variety of regionally significant infrastructure projects, establishing and building existing client relationships and for the right candidate, leading people.

This role provides a fantastic opportunity for an engineer to grow their experience, working as part of a high performing, close-knit regional team that consists of almost 90 engineers, scientists and designers. As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for contributing to and managing a range of projects, working with various clients and sectors. You will guide and mentor junior engineers, contributing to the growth of our talent pipeline.

We are currently working on the largest and most challenging water infrastructure projects in the region, from sewerage treatment plants to water recycling plants, DN100 to DN1400 pipelines and pump stations up to 1500 L/s.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering Water Infrastructure projects to a high standard, within budget and on time

  • Experience managing multidisciplinary projects

  • Passionate about developing yourself to be a future leader and initiator of our vision to build a better world

  • Love working with people

  • Technical design experience in one or more of the following areas: water and wastewater conveyance earthworks, treatment plants, pump stations and hydraulic modelling

  • Working knowledge of either 12d or Civil 3d will be highly regarded.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering – recognised by the Washington Accord

  • CPEng, RPEQ (or eligible to obtain.)
