OandG Industries, Inc., an innovative and diversified construction company based out of Torrington, CT, is seeking aHeavy Civil Project Managerto join our team at our new Amtrack project in Old Saybrook.
The $1 billion dollar value Amtrak Connecticut River Bridge project will involve building a two-track, electrified, movable bridge structure equipped with new track, signal, catenary, power, communication, controls and security features.
The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee project management for all activities at the job site and manage relationships with key stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and the community.
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in a project management or supervisory role
- Experience with at least one project with bridge construction, one major infrastructure or other railroad infrastructure projects on an operating railroad environment, and at least one project above $500 million in value
- Possess a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or another related field
- Ability to provide resolutions to technical problems as they arise
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
