Job Description:
This position is responsible for leading projects management activities assigned to successfully deliver them into production on time within budget and quality targets. including materials assurance. This activity involves leading and coordinating with associates in global functional areas of the organization at varying levels of management.
Duties & Responsibilities
●Ensure the project operational functional teams fully understand scope, timing and internal/external deliverables.
●Create, maintain, and publish the "Dashboard" for launching projects specialist may be required to present his/her dashboard and/or presentations to executive leadership at any time.
●Facilitate candid, respectful, clear and continuous communication between our Brookfield team (design, engineering, commercial, marketing, quality, IT, etc) and our Operations teams in PRC and Mexico.
●Escalate project risk immediately, work with needed departments to mitigate those risk and continue to escalate, follow up until resolution.
●Lead weekly projects meeting with cross-functional team through entire organization; progress to project deliverables is reviewed weekly (as required by project) in OPM meetings and mitigation plans created for risk items.
●Capital spending tracking for assigned projects, support creating of CAR (applicable in Transfers).
●Understand, document, share the lesson learned in transfer projects , updated post-morten files an extend the knowledge to the rest of the organization.
●Ensure ramp up and ramp down plans to support projects needs related labor, capacity, materials, and timings.
Qualification, Knowledge & Academic requirements
● Bachelor’s degree. Engineering is preferred.
● 5+ years of experience.
● Advanced English.
● Strong problem-solving skills.
● Excellent communication skills
● Excellent presentation skills.
● Understanding of basic accounting and finance concepts.
● Understanding of basic quality control concepts.
