What you'll be doing
Lead and manage a team of big data analysts to develop and implement data-driven solutions that address complex business challenges and opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into actionable data strategies and analytics projects.
Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making by promoting best practices, tools, and methodologies for data analysis and interpretation.
Monitor and report on the performance and effectiveness of data solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and KPIs.
Identify opportunities for leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to drive business innovation and competitive advantage.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in big data and analytics, recommending new tools and approaches to enhance data capabilities.

How you'll succeed
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals in a data-centric environment.- Deep understanding of big data technologies, platforms, and tools, such as Hadoop, Azure and Spark, and SQL.- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on deriving insights from complex data sets.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.- Proven track record in managing and delivering big data projects on time and within budget.- Ability to navigate and adapt to a rapidly changing data landscape, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in big data analysis, data engineering, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role.- Proficiency in big data tools and technologies, as well as data visualization and reporting tools.- Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security best practices.- Experience in working with cloud-based data platforms, such as Azure.- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams to drive data-driven decision-making.- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of big data and analytics.
