Job Title: Financial AnalystJob Description
We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst with a strong accounting background to join our team. This role involves performing daily bank account reconciliations, variance analysis, and providing support for ad hoc reports. The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial reporting and data analysis, along with proficiency in Excel and SQL.
Responsibilities
Perform daily bank account reconciliations and analysis.
Conduct daily variance analysis and prepare summary reporting.
Support the creation of ad hoc reports for weekly and monthly reviews and interest calculations.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in reconciliation and accounting.
Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables.
Experience with SQL for data analysis.
Ability to conduct variance analysis and interest calculations.
Strong reporting skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience in accounting is strongly preferred.
Ability to communicate data insights effectively.
Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Experience with Oracle, NetSuite, and Power BI is advantageous.
Work Environment
This is a remote role with a preference for candidates in the EST, Toronto Area. Working hours are typically from 9 AM to 5 PM with some flexibility. You will be part of a dynamic team of more than five members, collaborating closely with senior management in Cash & Collateral Management.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
