About The Role:

As a CBRE Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing service providers for various categories within Canada markets. You will collaborate with clients, internal stakeholders, and suppliers to develop and execute procurement strategies, while maintaining high-level engagement with all parties throughout your work.

What You'll Do:

  • Work with business customers, operational shared service team members, and sponsors to develop, coordinate, and implement sourcing strategies or plans at local or regional levels.

  • Ensure operational alignment with property management or other stakeholder teams as applicable.

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and maintain contracts and other business documents in support of the purchase of goods and services.

  • Review the process of contract terminations, expirations, extensions, and renewals. Inform peers and corporate management staff of changes or results.

  • Identify and establish the supply chain to support sourcing objectives within a given category.

  • Conduct periodic visits to supplier work locations to review vendor performance.

  • Develop and implement category strategies demonstrating the wider CBRE organization, where possible, to ensure that client requirements and CBRE business needs are met

  • Analyze account-wide facility management services spend, suppliers, operations, and statement of works to find opportunities for value creation.

  • Assist with crafting RT(X)s, selecting solutions, and negotiating. Prepare and maintain contracts with national and regional service providers. Ensure contracts adhere to company standards.

  • Develop and implement communication mechanisms to ensure that all stakeholders are informed and engaged in the delivery of procurement strategies

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement. Deal with sensitive issues.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. C.P.M., C.P.S.M. or N.A.C.M. certifications or eligibility preferred.

  • Specific experience in the sourcing of facilities management and/or property management-focused services will be beneficial. Experience with Yardi software is also a plus.

  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.

  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information and convey performance expectations.

  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

  • Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial related calculations.
