The Operations Analyst contributes to the overall success of the Document & Regulatory Control Department in ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives, are executed & delivered, in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. They ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with governing regulations and internal policies and procedures.
This is a term position until December 2025
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
Provide oversight/control on client account opening documents to help reduce the firms risk with applicable regulating bodies by reviewing, analyzing, and approving/rejecting documents for completeness and accuracy using various applications such as Webpost, AS400, HOD, and SharePoint
Provide exceptional customer service support on account opening related queries
Maintain client account integrity by performing sundry items as required
Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions
Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:
Post-secondary education in business or business administration
1-2 years’ industry experience working with QI/FATCA and CRS
Working knowledge of AS400, Broadridge, SCORE, Wealthone systems
Knowledge of securities / brokerage operations including areas such as Client Onboarding & Regulatory Documentation
Knowledge of financial industry policies and regulations including AML/ATF, Privacy, KYC, QI & FATCA, CIRO Reg 1300 and CRS
Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practice handbook (CPH) is an asset
Demonstrated PC user skills including word processing, MS Office, spreadsheets, and database management
Strong organizational skills
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Effective communication skills both written and verbal
An ability to work with computer-based platforms and applications
An ability and desire to learn new tasks
Effective time management skills with a focus on attention to detail
The ability to read and understand Spanish/or French is an asset
