We are actively seeking a Business Analyst to join our high-performing Core Banking Services Technology team. As a pivotal member of our growing team, you will play a crucial role in our agile technology delivery, contributing to the dynamic evolution of our systems. Responsibilities encompass a wide array of tasks, including but not limited to defining stories/MVPs, managing business process changes, conducting impact analyses, leading application development, formulating robust test strategies, and providing post-production support. Successful Candidate will be given opportunity to become subject matter expert in core banking operations and be part of an exciting journey to modernize a major financial institution. Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.

  • Conduct thorough impact analyses, assessing the effects of proposed changes on various facets of business operations and technological infrastructure.

  • Translate requirements of functionality into user stories & actively participate in product backlog prioritization.

  • Identify opportunities for processes and system improvement.

  • Working within an Agile environment, collaborate with developers and business stakeholders on system changes, upgrades and new implementations as needed.

  • Leading integrated and user acceptance testing to ensure that the system meets the outlined requirements.

  • Contribute to delivering projects on target, scope and quality.

  • Transfer knowledge to peers and foster a culture of learning in becoming subject matter experts within your domain.

  • Communicate effectively across diverse audiences, departments and levels acting as a SME in the assigned line of business.

  • Actively participate in retrospective sessions to continuously improve processes and practices.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

  • Background in financial systems and/or operations preferred.

  • Experience working in high impact & mission critical systems, and track record of successful implementations involving major business changes.

  • Nice to have experience working with micro service application architecture.

  • Experienced working in cross functional delivery practicing agile deliveries.

  • Analytical, detail oriented, highly organized.

  • Very strong communication skills (written & verbal) required.
