Cognizant Guidewire Automation Test Engineer in Toronto, ON-199 Bay Street, Ontario
We are seeking a highly skilled Guidewire Automation Tester to join our QEA team. The ideal candidate will have good experience in Guidewire testing and a strong background in Property & Casualty Insurance. This role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous testing and validation processes.

In this role, you will:
Design test automation scripts for UI, Web Services and APIs.
Identify, document, and report issues/defects found during automation testing, and work with developers to resolve them.
Participate in Sprint planning sessions, Review Test Requirements/Test Cases and help resolve the queries raised by the QA team.
Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure that new features and updates do not negatively impact existing functionality.
Maintain consistency with quality standards and recommended practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Ensure effective implementation of processes and manage all testing deliverables, risks & issues.
What you’ll need to succeed (required skills):
Overall 4-6 years as a Test Automation Engineer or in a similar automation testing role with 2+ years of relevant Guidewire testing and Property & Casualty Insurance experience.
At least 1 year of experience in Guidewire full suite implementation.
Experience in integration testing along with upstream and downstream systems integrated with Guidewire.
Good experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java and API Automation.
Strong experience in different testing phases and methodologies especially in regression testing.
Proficient in risk and issue identification, mitigation, and coordination with multiple internal teams as well as external vendors.
Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with onshore and offshore team.
What will help you stand out (preferred skills):
Software Quality Certification.
Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps Tools such as Jenkins, GIT, etc.
