The role involves working closely with various internal teams to gather information, tailor responses to client needs, and ensure the submission of high-quality, compliant proposals. The Specialist plays a key role in the company\'s business development process, handling the end-to-end process of proposal preparation, including reviewing and analyzing Request for Proposal (RFP) documents, drafting responses, ensuring accuracy, and meeting deadlines. This role demands excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills along with superior writing, editing, and proofreading abilities to support the company\'s growth and success in winning new and renewal business contracts. :::

RFP Coordination: Lead the end-to-end RFP process, including reviewing RFP requirements, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and ensuring timely submission.
Proposal Development: Work with internal department subject matter experts (SME) to develop, write, and edit proposals, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with group requirements and company objectives.
Content Management: Maintain and update a repository of proposal content, templates, and best practices for efficient proposal development.
Client Collaboration: Work closely with rep teams to understand group needs and tailor proposals accordingly.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, legal, finance, and technical teams to gather and incorporate necessary information into proposals.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all proposals meet high-quality standards and comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the RFP process and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities and stay updated on industry trends and competitors activities.
Proposal Review: Perform thorough reviews of submitted proposals to ensure they meet all requirements and identify areas for improvement.
Document Control: Manage document version control and ensure all proposal materials are up-to-date and properly archived.
Client Follow-Up: Follow up with rep teams to gather feedback on submitted proposals and use this information to improve future submissions.
Compliance: Ensure that all proposals comply with legal, regulatory, and company-specific guidelines and requirements.
Performance Metrics: Track and report on key performance metrics related to the RFP process, such as win/loss rates, proposal submission timelines, and group/broker satisfaction.
Client Presentations: Prepare and participate in group presentations as part of the proposal process as assigned, highlighting the key strengths and benefits of the proposed solutions.\ \ ::: :::
