The Global Dealer Training & Productivity team helps dealers work smarter, not harder, with targeted training, data, strategy and more. Together, our team:

What you'll do...

The Lead Assessment Specialist for Dealer Training & Productivity will have the primary responsibility of helping us build best in class assessments across our on-Demand digital programs. This candidate will be dedicated to developing assessments, including Scenario-based Questions, Knowledge Checks and Spaced Reinforcements, on Ford and Lincoln vehicles and products, and for Ford and Lincoln dealers and customers. In addition, the candidate will support the development of evaluation rubrics for virtual on-demand coaching and role plays, and ensure all assessments offered align to desired skills and proficiencies. Through these programs, the candidate will help us reimagine how people learn about our vehicles, products, and services. The candidate should be a creative ‘outside the box’ thinker undaunted by subject matter, audience, or delivery method. They should not be afraid to think big. They should be a maker who can guide and coach program managers and stakeholders to follow their inspiration from concept to prototype and into production.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and curriculum writers to analyze learning objectives and develop assessment strategies that align with the learning outcomes.

  • Create a variety of assessment materials, including scenario-based questions, quizzes, exams, case studies and stimulation to measure a learner’s understanding and proficiency in specific topics and subjects.

  • Design and develop proficiency tests and evaluation tools to assess a learner’s mastery of skills and competencies required for their specific roles.

  • Ensure that assessment materials are valid, reliable, and aligned with established standards and best practices in assessment and evaluation.

  • Conduct item analysis and review to validate standards and best practices in assessment and evaluation.

  • Collaborate across various teams to implement assessment tools that enhance existing learning platform and provide actionable insights for learners and curriculum writers.

  • Monitor and analyze assessment data to track learner’s progress, identify areas for improvement, and provide feedback to stakeholders.

  • Stay current on trends and enhancements in learning assessment methodologies, technologies, and practices to continuously improve assessment processes and outcomes.

The position is Remote, with flexibility to travel as needed.

You'll have...

  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and equivalent experience

  • 3+ years’ experience in building and managing of training and enablement assessment programs, including all aspects of the assessment creation progress, from scoping to building to deploying.

  • 1+ years of Experience in delivering assessment programs though modern enablement platforms such as Mindtickle, Brainshark, Allego, Showpad, or similar

Even better, you may have...

  • Strong knowledge of assessment principles, psychometrics, and best practices in learning assessment.

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with ability to create clear, concise and engaging assessment material.

  • Experience in supporting coaching programs or similar evaluation rubrics

  • Ability to strategically leverage proficiency data to inform programmatic decisions
