This job was posted by : For more information, please see: Job ID:15543Days - Full-TimeThe Emergency Medical Services & Outreach Education Specialist is a registered nurse responsible for connecting the University of Kansas Health System, area Emergency Medical Services (EMS) providers and referring facilities to meet key education, performance improvement and operational goals as related to EMS agencies and referral facilities. This position is an EMS liaison for the entire main campus of the hospital.The role is to be the primary contact for EMS operations such as communicating down-time of helipad or ambulance bay, providing patient follow up, reviewing cases for quality improvement and planning EMS recognition events.
